Con una inversi\u00f3n de m\u00e1s de 375 millones de pesos, la Gobernaci\u00f3n del Huila y la Secretar\u00eda de Salud pusieron en marcha un sistema de georreferenciaci\u00f3n que permitir\u00e1 supervisar en tiempo real el servicio de ambulancias en el departamento. La herramienta estar\u00e1 completamente operativa en tres meses y busca garantizar un mejor servicio en la atenci\u00f3n de urgencias y emergencias.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El proyecto fue priorizado por el gobierno de Rodrigo Villalba tras las reiteradas quejas recibidas por el Centro Regulador de Urgencias y Emergencias del Huila (CRUEH). Seg\u00fan el secretario de Salud, C\u00e9sar Germ\u00e1n Roa, la iniciativa permitir\u00e1 ordenar la operaci\u00f3n de las ambulancias, controlar su efectividad y, en \u00faltima instancia, salvar m\u00e1s vidas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La implementaci\u00f3n del sistema estar\u00e1 bajo la supervisi\u00f3n del CRUEH, que contar\u00e1 con un equipo de m\u00e9dicos y expertos encargados de auditar los resultados. Entre sus ventajas, permitir\u00e1 ubicar las ambulancias con precisi\u00f3n, regular la velocidad de los veh\u00edculos y mejorar los tiempos de respuesta frente a emergencias.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cada ambulancia dispondr\u00e1 de una aplicaci\u00f3n m\u00f3vil conectada al CRUEH, lo que permitir\u00e1 identificar la unidad m\u00e1s cercana a un incidente y asignarla de inmediato. Adem\u00e1s, se establecer\u00e1 un control sobre las empresas prestadoras del servicio, evitando la competencia desordenada y garantizando un mejor funcionamiento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En su primera etapa, el sistema ser\u00e1 instalado en cerca de 50 ambulancias que operan en Neiva y, posteriormente, se extender\u00e1 a los municipios del Huila.
