La mandataria, en el poder desde diciembre de 2022, hab\u00eda sido cuestionada por su incapacidad para contener la creciente ola de delincuencia y por las protestas que marcaron su gesti\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Con una abrumadora mayor\u00eda de <strong>118 votos a favor de 122 posibles<\/strong>, el Parlamento aprob\u00f3 su \u201cimpeachment\u201d, seg\u00fan confirm\u00f3 el presidente del Congreso, Jos\u00e9 Jeri. La decisi\u00f3n pone fin a un gobierno que enfrent\u00f3 cr\u00edticas constantes y una profunda crisis pol\u00edtica que vuelve a sacudir al pa\u00eds andino.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los legisladores de oposici\u00f3n presentaron cuatro mociones en las que acusaron a Boluarte de no haber hecho lo suficiente contra la inseguridad. Aunque se le cit\u00f3 a la sesi\u00f3n para ejercer su defensa, la presidenta no acudi\u00f3. Su abogado, Juan Carlos Portugal, asegur\u00f3 que no asistieron porque el Congreso vulner\u00f3 el debido proceso al no otorgarles tiempo suficiente para preparar la defensa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cEl debido proceso es un derecho, no una ilusi\u00f3n\u201d, escribi\u00f3 Portugal en su cuenta de X, criticando la rapidez del procedimiento. Con la votaci\u00f3n, el Congreso complet\u00f3 el tr\u00e1mite que formaliza la destituci\u00f3n de Boluarte, dejando nuevamente al pa\u00eds sin un presidente electo en funciones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Per\u00fa suma as\u00ed <strong>seis mandatarios consecutivos sin culminar su periodo presidencial<\/strong>. Desde Pedro Pablo Kuczynski hasta Dina Boluarte, todos han salido del poder por renuncias, destituciones o crisis pol\u00edticas.
