La decisi\u00f3n marca un nuevo cambio en la c\u00fapula de la instituci\u00f3n, en medio de un complejo panorama de seguridad en el pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cHe pedido el cambio del director. Ha hecho un gran trabajo, pero hay unas fallas que debemos superar profundamente\u201d, expres\u00f3 el mandatario al confirmar el relevo. Petro se\u00f1al\u00f3 que su determinaci\u00f3n est\u00e1 relacionada con hechos recientes que evidencian la necesidad de fortalecer la capacidad operativa y de reacci\u00f3n de la Polic\u00eda Nacional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Entre los hechos mencionados, el presidente hizo referencia al <strong>atentado ocurrido en Amalfi, Antioquia<\/strong>, el pasado 21 de agosto, en el que un helic\u00f3ptero de la instituci\u00f3n fue derribado mientras realizaba labores de erradicaci\u00f3n manual de cultivos il\u00edcitos. El ataque dej\u00f3 13 polic\u00edas fallecidos, entre ellos oficiales y patrulleros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El mandatario indic\u00f3 que ofrecer\u00e1 un informe detallado sobre el caso en los pr\u00f3ximos d\u00edas. La tragedia en Amalfi fue uno de los episodios m\u00e1s graves contra la fuerza p\u00fablica en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os, y gener\u00f3 preocupaci\u00f3n por la presencia de grupos armados en la regi\u00f3n del nordeste antioque\u00f1o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hasta el momento, <strong>la Casa de Nari\u00f1o no ha anunciado qui\u00e9n asumir\u00e1 la direcci\u00f3n de la Polic\u00eda Nacional<\/strong>, ni cu\u00e1ndo se har\u00e1 oficial el cambio de mando.
