UU., el presidente Gustavo Petro confirm\u00f3 que su defensa legal en ese pa\u00eds estar\u00e1 a cargo del abogado Daniel Kovalik, un conocido especialista en derechos humanos y laborales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La defensa explorar\u00eda dos frentes principales. El primero es la Ley de Reclamaciones por Agravios Extranjeros (ATCA), una norma de 1789 que permite a extranjeros presentar demandas civiles en cortes federales estadounidenses por violaciones al derecho internacional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El segundo frente es el proceso administrativo ante la OFAC. Cristian Rojas, Jefe del Departamento de Ciencias Pol\u00edticas de la Universidad de La Sabana, explic\u00f3 que para esto, el afectado debe demostrar que las razones de su inclusi\u00f3n en la lista han sido superadas.
