Seg\u00fan el mandatario, esta apertura no implica cesar la lucha judicial ni represiva contra las bandas, sino explorar mecanismos que permitan desmantelar las estructuras criminales de manera pac\u00edfica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cEn Colombia parecen ser una raz\u00f3n social de grupos delincuenciales, pero los mayores da\u00f1os criminales en mi pa\u00eds tienen otras siglas y otra historia detr\u00e1s. Se explorar\u00e1 cu\u00e1l es la seriedad de esa carta\u201d, escribi\u00f3 Petro en su cuenta oficial de X, destacando que la veracidad y el compromiso de la organizaci\u00f3n ser\u00e1n evaluados cuidadosamente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El presidente tom\u00f3 como ejemplo el modelo de justicia de <strong>Estados Unidos<\/strong>, que permite negociar procesos judiciales de manera r\u00e1pida, priorizando la verdad y la reparaci\u00f3n sobre la c\u00e1rcel, lo que reduce la impunidad. \u201cSi una organizaci\u00f3n criminal quiere desmantelarse en serio y dejar su actividad delictiva, tal como hacen criminales ante la justicia de los Estados Unidos, se deber\u00eda permitir tambi\u00e9n en Colombia\u201d, afirm\u00f3 Petro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La propuesta surge luego de que <strong>Larry Amaury \u00c1lvarez<\/strong>, uno de los fundadores del Tren de Aragua, enviara la carta solicitando di\u00e1logos de paz. \u00c1lvarez estuvo detenido en Venezuela junto a \u2018Ni\u00f1o Guerrero\u2019, otro de los l\u00edderes de la banda, en la c\u00e1rcel de Tocor\u00f3n. La Oficina del Alto Comisionado para la Paz confirm\u00f3 que la decisi\u00f3n queda en manos del jefe de Estado y que evaluar\u00e1 la seriedad del planteamiento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Petro asegur\u00f3 que esta estrategia busca replicar procesos exitosos de desmantelamiento pac\u00edfico que se han aplicado en ciudades como <strong>Medell\u00edn, Barranquilla, Buenaventura y Quibd\u00f3<\/strong>, donde se han logrado resultados positivos en la reducci\u00f3n de violencia y criminalidad.
