{"id":90531,"date":"2025-11-19T17:42:21","date_gmt":"2025-11-19T22:42:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/luchonoticias.com\/?p=90531"},"modified":"2025-11-19T17:42:23","modified_gmt":"2025-11-19T22:42:23","slug":"esta-es-la-tortuga-fosil-en-homenaje-a-shakira","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/luchonoticias.com\/editor\/esta-es-la-tortuga-fosil-en-homenaje-a-shakira\/","title":{"rendered":"Esta es la tortuga f\u00f3sil en homenaje a Shakira"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Un grupo de paleont\u00f3logos identific\u00f3 en el <strong>desierto de la Tatacoa<\/strong>, una nueva especie de tortuga f\u00f3sil bautizada como <strong><em>Shakiremys colombiana<\/em><\/strong>, en homenaje a la reconocida artista barranquillera <strong>Shakira<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El hallazgo, realizado en el yacimiento <strong>La Venta<\/strong>, incluye un <strong>cr\u00e1neo completo y dos caparazones<\/strong> excepcionalmente conservados, que permitieron determinar que se trata de un nuevo g\u00e9nero perteneciente a la familia de las <strong>podocnem\u00eddidas<\/strong>, tortugas de agua dulce que habitaron Sudam\u00e9rica durante el <strong>Mioceno<\/strong>, hace unos <strong>13 millones de a\u00f1os<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De acuerdo con los investigadores, esta especie presenta una <strong>combinaci\u00f3n \u00fanica de caracter\u00edsticas<\/strong> propias de tortugas de <strong>Madagascar y Sudam\u00e9rica<\/strong>, lo que la convierte en un descubrimiento clave para comprender la <strong>evoluci\u00f3n y diversificaci\u00f3n<\/strong> de estos reptiles en la regi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En esa \u00e9poca, el actual desierto de la Tatacoa era un <strong>ecosistema de lagos y r\u00edos<\/strong>, muy distinto al paisaje \u00e1rido que hoy lo caracteriza, lo que explica la presencia de fauna acu\u00e1tica f\u00f3sil en la zona.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Contrario a lo que muchos manifiestan, la conexi\u00f3n de la cantante con la regi\u00f3n es muy cercana: recordar que siendo joven protagoniz\u00f3 una telenovela que se grab\u00f3 precisamente en zonas cercanas al Desierto. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El estudio sobre la <strong><em>Shakiremys colombiana<\/em><\/strong> refuerza la importancia paleontol\u00f3gica de La Venta, considerado uno de los <strong>yacimientos f\u00f3siles m\u00e1s ricos de Am\u00e9rica Latina<\/strong>, y evidencia el valor cient\u00edfico del Huila como escenario para comprender la historia natural del continente.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Un grupo de paleont\u00f3logos identific\u00f3 en el desierto de la Tatacoa, una nueva especie de tortuga f\u00f3sil bautizada como Shakiremys colombiana, en homenaje a la reconocida artista barranquillera Shakira.
