La acci\u00f3n se fundamenta en el <strong>C\u00f3digo Sustantivo del Trabajo<\/strong>, la <strong>Constituci\u00f3n Pol\u00edtica<\/strong> y convenios de la <strong>Organizaci\u00f3n Internacional del Trabajo (OIT)<\/strong>, como la <strong>Convenci\u00f3n 29 sobre Trabajo Forzoso<\/strong> y la <strong>Convenci\u00f3n 111 sobre Discriminaci\u00f3n en el Empleo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El abogado <strong>\u00d3scar David Benavides Angulo<\/strong>, quien lidera la demanda, conoce de cerca la realidad de los vendedores ambulantes: comenz\u00f3 a trabajar a los <strong>17 a\u00f1os en Bogot\u00e1<\/strong>, vendiendo productos como <strong>Crem Helado, Bon Ice y Vive 100<\/strong> en zonas como el <strong>Portal de la 80, Engativ\u00e1, Corabastos y Patio Bonito<\/strong>. Fue testigo de las <strong>largas jornadas y la falta de contratos<\/strong> que caracterizan a esta forma de comercializaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201c<strong>Es una forma de esclavitud moderna que se ha naturalizado en las calles del pa\u00eds<\/strong>\u201d, se\u00f1ala el texto de la acci\u00f3n judicial, que busca no solo <strong>reconocer derechos laborales<\/strong>, sino tambi\u00e9n <strong>sentar un precedente legal y social<\/strong> frente a las nuevas modalidades de explotaci\u00f3n en la econom\u00eda informal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La demanda fue radicada ante el <strong>Ministerio de Trabajo<\/strong>, y se espera que impulse medidas para <strong>proteger a miles de vendedores informales<\/strong>.
