Tras los recientes hechos ocurridos en la zona rural de Gigante, donde dos veh\u00edculos de transporte p\u00fablico fueron incinerados por presuntos grupos armados ilegales, la Alcald\u00eda Municipal convoc\u00f3 a un Consejo de Seguridad Ampliado. La Gobernaci\u00f3n del Huila particip\u00f3 activamente en esta reuni\u00f3n junto a autoridades civiles, policiales y militares, reiterando su compromiso con la protecci\u00f3n de la comunidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El secretario de Gobierno, Seguridad y Asuntos Comunitarios del Huila, Juan Carlos Casallas Rivas, destac\u00f3 que el encuentro permiti\u00f3 definir acciones concretas frente a la alteraci\u00f3n del orden p\u00fablico. \u201cEl mensaje es claro: no est\u00e1n solos. Aqu\u00ed estamos para tomar las medidas necesarias que eviten la repetici\u00f3n de estos hechos\u201d, afirm\u00f3, anunciando el refuerzo de la presencia operacional y las labores de investigaci\u00f3n para identificar a los responsables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Casallas Rivas hizo un llamado a la ciudadan\u00eda a denunciar cualquier acto delictivo que afecte la tranquilidad de la regi\u00f3n. \u201cEstos hechos no solo impactan al sector transportador, sino a toda la comunidad\u201d, agreg\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El alcalde de Gigante, Josu\u00e9 Manrique Murcia, agradeci\u00f3 el respaldo de la Gobernaci\u00f3n y resalt\u00f3 el valor de este acompa\u00f1amiento para fortalecer la confianza ciudadana. Tambi\u00e9n anunci\u00f3 la asignaci\u00f3n de recursos para recompensas que incentiven las denuncias, invitando a la poblaci\u00f3n a confiar en las instituciones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
