La decisi\u00f3n se conoci\u00f3 luego de que <strong>Abelardo de la Espriella<\/strong> informara al expresidente <strong>\u00c1lvaro Uribe V\u00e9lez<\/strong> sobre la <strong>renuncia de Uribe Londo\u00f1o<\/strong> a su aspiraci\u00f3n, con el prop\u00f3sito de respaldarlo pol\u00edticamente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En un comunicado emitido este <strong>1 de diciembre<\/strong>, el partido explic\u00f3 que la salida del exsenador se dio de manera voluntaria y en medio del proceso interno para elegir candidato presidencial. De acuerdo con la m\u00e1s reciente encuesta de <strong>Invamer<\/strong>, Uribe Londo\u00f1o ocupaba el cuarto lugar en intenci\u00f3n de voto entre los precandidatos uribistas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El documento del Centro Democr\u00e1tico detalla que la decisi\u00f3n se desencaden\u00f3 tras una llamada de <strong>De la Espriella<\/strong> al expresidente Uribe, en la que este le comunic\u00f3 que Uribe Londo\u00f1o hab\u00eda decidido <strong>renunciar a su precandidatura y al partido<\/strong>.
