A la gravedad de sus padecimientos se suman fallas persistentes en el acceso a los servicios de salud.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Seg\u00fan datos recopilados por la organizaci\u00f3n, en lo corrido de 2025 han fallecido <strong>2.033 personas con enfermedades raras<\/strong>, muchas de ellas por demoras, interrupciones y deficiencias en la atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica que pudieron haberse evitado. En agosto, la cifra se ubicaba en 1.501 casos, lo que significa un aumento de m\u00e1s de 500 muertes en pocos meses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cEsto evidencia que la situaci\u00f3n no se est\u00e1 controlando y que las fallas del sistema siguen presentes\u201d, se\u00f1al\u00f3 Diego Gil, presidente de FECOER, al insistir en que el sistema de salud atraviesa una crisis de desfinanciamiento y gesti\u00f3n, reflejada en la falta de medicamentos, demoras en autorizaciones y ausencia de insumos b\u00e1sicos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Un hallazgo especialmente grave del informe es que cerca del <strong>40 % de las v\u00edctimas estaban afiliadas a EPS intervenidas por el Gobierno<\/strong>, donde se registran mayores demoras e inestabilidad. \u201cLas intervenciones no est\u00e1n resolviendo los problemas estructurales.
