Tras los recientes hechos de violencia ocurridos en los municipios de Tesalia y La Plata, la Gobernaci\u00f3n del Huila lider\u00f3 un Consejo Extraordinario de Seguridad<\/strong> con la participaci\u00f3n de autoridades militares, civiles y de Polic\u00eda, en el que se anunciaron medidas para fortalecer la seguridad en todo el territorio departamental.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El gobernador encargado, Juan Carlos Casallas Rivas<\/strong>, inform\u00f3 que se incrementar\u00e1 el pie de fuerza del Ej\u00e9rcito, la Polic\u00eda y la Fuerza Aeroespacial Colombiana<\/strong>, con el prop\u00f3sito de anticipar, prevenir y responder a posibles hostigamientos o hechos que atenten contra la Fuerza P\u00fablica y la poblaci\u00f3n civil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Durante la sesi\u00f3n, el Gobierno del Huila expres\u00f3 su solidaridad con la familia de la patrullera Karen Est\u00e9fany Pajoy Candela<\/strong>, asesinada mientras se encontraba de vacaciones y desarmada en zona rural de La Plata. El mandatario rechaz\u00f3 de manera categ\u00f3rica este crimen, atribuido a disidencias de las FARC, y reiter\u00f3 el compromiso de las autoridades para dar con los responsables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cReconocemos la r\u00e1pida reacci\u00f3n de la Polic\u00eda, el Ej\u00e9rcito y la Fuerza Aeroespacial frente al ataque a la estaci\u00f3n de Tesalia, que no logr\u00f3 cumplir el objetivo de los grupos armados ilegales de atentar contra nuestros uniformados\u201d, se\u00f1al\u00f3 Casallas Rivas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El gobernador encargado anunci\u00f3 adem\u00e1s la ampliaci\u00f3n de las capacidades investigativas<\/strong> para esclarecer el homicidio de la patrullera, articul\u00e1ndose con la recompensa de hasta 200 millones de pesos<\/strong> ofrecida por el Gobierno Nacional. Tambi\u00e9n se fortalecer\u00e1 la seguridad en los corredores tur\u00edsticos y viales<\/strong>, y se implementar\u00e1n canales seguros para la denuncia ciudadana<\/strong>, especialmente contra la extorsi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Casallas confirm\u00f3 que las investigaciones avanzan con apoyo de la Fiscal\u00eda General de la Naci\u00f3n y la Fuerza P\u00fablica<\/strong>, y que los responsables pertenecer\u00edan a un grupo armado residual<\/strong> que opera en la regi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Durante el Consejo se destac\u00f3 adem\u00e1s la efectividad de los recientes operativos de la Fuerza P\u00fablica<\/strong>, entre ellos la liberaci\u00f3n de nueve secuestrados y la captura de alias \u201cRichard\u201d en La Plata<\/strong>. Tambi\u00e9n se anunci\u00f3 la llegada de unidades especiales del Ej\u00e9rcito<\/strong> para reforzar la presencia institucional en el territorio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El Gobierno Departamental reiter\u00f3 que este asesinato constituye una violaci\u00f3n al Derecho Internacional Humanitario<\/strong> y podr\u00eda considerarse un crimen de guerra<\/strong>, al tiempo que reafirm\u00f3 su compromiso con la defensa de la vida y la seguridad de todos los huilenses.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
