La Alcald\u00eda de Neiva anunci\u00f3 el refuerzo de la seguridad en la ciudad con la llegada de 35 nuevos polic\u00edas<\/strong> y la incorporaci\u00f3n del Batall\u00f3n de Fuerzas Especiales Urbanas (BAFUR) N.\u00b0 9<\/strong> del Ej\u00e9rcito Nacional. Estas medidas fortalecen el trabajo conjunto entre la Polic\u00eda Metropolitana y las Fuerzas Militares en el marco del plan Una Navidad con Prop\u00f3sito<\/em>, que ya reporta una reducci\u00f3n del 30 % en los delitos de alto impacto<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El secretario de Gobierno, Jos\u00e9 Ferney Ducuara Castro<\/strong>, destac\u00f3 que los nuevos uniformados se suman a los 1.686 efectivos<\/strong> ya desplegados en la ciudad, integrando grupos especializados como el GOES, GAULA y UNIPOL<\/strong>, que realizan patrullajes constantes en barrios y comunas. \u201cEstos h\u00e9roes llegan a brindarnos una Navidad segura y en paz\u201d, afirm\u00f3 el funcionario.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El refuerzo policial fue confirmado tras la reuni\u00f3n entre el alcalde Germ\u00e1n Casagua Bonilla<\/strong>, el comandante de la Polic\u00eda Metropolitana, H\u00e9ctor Jairo Betancourt Rojas<\/strong>, y el director general de la Polic\u00eda Nacional, general William Rinc\u00f3n Zambrano<\/strong>, quien ratific\u00f3 el env\u00edo de nuevas unidades para fortalecer la capacidad operativa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ducuara tambi\u00e9n resalt\u00f3 la presencia del BAFUR N.\u00b0 9<\/strong>, que apoyar\u00e1 las labores de control y prevenci\u00f3n del delito en los sectores m\u00e1s cr\u00edticos. \u201cEste acompa\u00f1amiento del Ej\u00e9rcito Nacional garantiza una acci\u00f3n integral contra la delincuencia, para devolverle a los ciudadanos la tranquilidad y la convivencia que estaban reclamando\u201d, puntualiz\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Durante el m\u00e1s reciente Consejo de Seguridad, la Administraci\u00f3n present\u00f3 resultados positivos de la vigencia 2025: 231 veh\u00edculos recuperados, 129 armas de fuego incautadas y 1.646 capturas<\/strong>.
