Record\u00f3 que entre los afectados se encuentran m\u00e1s de <strong>4.200 defensores y defensoras p\u00fablicas<\/strong>, quienes garantizan el acceso a la justicia a miles de ciudadanos sin recursos para pagar representaci\u00f3n judicial. \u201cCada defensor p\u00fablico lleva m\u00e1s procesos de los que es razonable\u201d, advirti\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La defensora subray\u00f3 que la <strong>Defensa P\u00fablica<\/strong> es un componente esencial del sistema judicial colombiano y que la falta de pago afecta directamente la atenci\u00f3n a la poblaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s vulnerable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mar\u00edn tambi\u00e9n alert\u00f3 que el <strong>presupuesto proyectado para 2026<\/strong> es <strong>inferior al del 2025<\/strong>, pese a que fue definido por el Ministerio de Hacienda. Durante el debate en el Congreso, la cifra se redujo a\u00fan m\u00e1s, pues \u2014seg\u00fan explic\u00f3\u2014 \u201calgunos congresistas no apoyaron la proposici\u00f3n para aumentar los recursos, argumentando que el Congreso no pod\u00eda aprobarla sin el aval previo de MinHacienda.
