{"id":91813,"date":"2025-12-30T15:44:35","date_gmt":"2025-12-30T20:44:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/luchonoticias.com\/editor\/?p=91813"},"modified":"2025-12-30T15:44:36","modified_gmt":"2025-12-30T20:44:36","slug":"aumentan-casos-de-fiebre-amarilla","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/luchonoticias.com\/editor\/aumentan-casos-de-fiebre-amarilla\/","title":{"rendered":"Aumentan casos de fiebre amarilla"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>El <strong>Ministerio de Salud y Protecci\u00f3n Social<\/strong> y el <strong>Instituto Nacional de Salud (INS)<\/strong> lanzaron una nueva alerta nacional por el incremento de casos de <strong>fiebre amarilla<\/strong>, especialmente durante la temporada vacacional, cuando miles de personas se desplazan a zonas de riesgo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En lo corrido de <strong>2025 se han confirmado 118 casos y 49 muertes<\/strong> por esta enfermedad en <strong>10 departamentos del pa\u00eds<\/strong>. El <strong>Tolima<\/strong> contin\u00faa siendo el m\u00e1s afectado, con 121 contagios y 47 fallecimientos reportados desde 2024. \u201cEl an\u00e1lisis de los casos demuestra que la mayor\u00eda de las personas afectadas no estaban vacunadas o viajaron a zonas de alto riesgo sin inmunizarse previamente\u201d, explic\u00f3 el ministro de Salud, <strong>Guillermo Alfonso Jaramillo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Las autoridades sanitarias recordaron que la <strong>vacunaci\u00f3n es la principal medida de prevenci\u00f3n<\/strong> y debe aplicarse <strong>al menos 10 d\u00edas antes del viaje<\/strong> a zonas end\u00e9micas. Tambi\u00e9n se recomienda el uso de <strong>mosquiteros<\/strong>, la <strong>eliminaci\u00f3n de criaderos de zancudos<\/strong> y el <strong>lavado y tapado de dep\u00f3sitos de agua<\/strong> para evitar la proliferaci\u00f3n del mosquito transmisor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seg\u00fan la <strong>Organizaci\u00f3n Panamericana de la Salud (OPS)<\/strong>, la fiebre amarilla es <strong>end\u00e9mica en 13 pa\u00edses de la regi\u00f3n<\/strong>, entre ellos Colombia, y desde finales de 2024 ha mostrado un <strong>repunte de casos humanos<\/strong>, pasando de la zona amaz\u00f3nica a otras regiones. El virus se transmite por la picadura de <strong>mosquitos infectados<\/strong>, principalmente del g\u00e9nero <em>Aedes aegypti<\/em>, y presenta tres ciclos de transmisi\u00f3n: selv\u00e1tico, intermedio y urbano.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La fiebre amarilla puede causar s\u00edntomas como <strong>fiebre alta, dolor muscular, cefalea, n\u00e1useas y p\u00e9rdida del apetito<\/strong>. En los casos m\u00e1s graves, aparece <strong>ictericia<\/strong>, da\u00f1o hep\u00e1tico y renal, e incluso <strong>hemorragias<\/strong>, con una tasa de mortalidad de hasta el 50 % en la fase t\u00f3xica.
