Los precios bajan y la rentabilidad aumenta; es con la tecnolog\u00eda y no con la sobreexplotaci\u00f3n de quien trabaja que se aumentan las ganancias\u201d, expres\u00f3 el mandatario a trav\u00e9s de su cuenta de X.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Petro record\u00f3 que durante su gesti\u00f3n como alcalde de Bogot\u00e1 ya se hab\u00eda implementado un programa piloto con 50 taxis el\u00e9ctricos, los cuales contin\u00faan operando en la capital. Adem\u00e1s, anunci\u00f3 un aumento del <strong>40 % en el arancel de importaci\u00f3n de autos y motos a combusti\u00f3n<\/strong>, con el fin de fomentar el ensamblaje local de veh\u00edculos el\u00e9ctricos y sus componentes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El Ministerio de Transporte explic\u00f3 que los taxistas con veh\u00edculos de m\u00e1s de 10 a\u00f1os podr\u00e1n acceder al incentivo, financiado por el <strong>Fondo para la Promoci\u00f3n de Ascenso Tecnol\u00f3gico (Fopat)<\/strong>. El programa ofrece hasta <strong>$42 millones<\/strong> para la reposici\u00f3n del veh\u00edculo y <strong>$10 millones adicionales<\/strong> para la compra e instalaci\u00f3n del punto de carga en la vivienda del propietario.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La iniciativa busca reducir los costos de operaci\u00f3n, promover la transici\u00f3n energ\u00e9tica y mejorar la calidad del aire. Seg\u00fan el Gobierno, los taxis el\u00e9ctricos pueden generar <strong>ahorros del 43 % en combustible y del 65 % en mantenimiento<\/strong>, comparados con los de combusti\u00f3n interna.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La ministra de Transporte, Mar\u00eda Fernanda Rojas, destac\u00f3 que la meta es que los taxistas cuenten con veh\u00edculos m\u00e1s modernos, eficientes y rentables. \u201cEste programa demuestra que cuidar el ambiente puede significar m\u00e1s ingresos y mejores condiciones para quienes viven del transporte\u201d, se\u00f1al\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A los incentivos econ\u00f3micos se suman los beneficios legales vigentes, como <strong>descuentos en el SOAT<\/strong>, reducci\u00f3n en la <strong>Revisi\u00f3n T\u00e9cnico-Mec\u00e1nica<\/strong> y <strong>exenci\u00f3n de restricciones de circulaci\u00f3n<\/strong>, lo que facilita la operaci\u00f3n continua del servicio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El Ministerio estima que con este programa se podr\u00e1n <strong>modernizar hasta 54.000 taxis en todo el pa\u00eds hacia 2036<\/strong>, consolidando una pol\u00edtica p\u00fablica orientada a la <strong>descarbonizaci\u00f3n del transporte<\/strong> y a
