La Corporaci\u00f3n Aut\u00f3noma Regional del Alto Magdalena (CAM)<\/strong> fortalece la educaci\u00f3n ambiental en el Huila mediante la entrega de gu\u00edas ilustradas, cartillas y material pedag\u00f3gico a comunidades y organizaciones del departamento. Esta iniciativa busca promover el monitoreo comunitario<\/strong>, la apropiaci\u00f3n de la biodiversidad<\/strong> y la protecci\u00f3n de especies y ecosistemas estrat\u00e9gicos<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El anuncio fue realizado durante la conmemoraci\u00f3n del D\u00eda Nacional de la Educaci\u00f3n Ambiental<\/strong>, donde la CAM destac\u00f3 que estos recursos hacen parte del Plan de Conservaci\u00f3n de Especies Amenazadas del Huila<\/strong>, enfocado en especies como el oso de anteojos<\/strong> y la danta de monta\u00f1a<\/strong>, as\u00ed como del Plan para el Reconocimiento y Protecci\u00f3n de Especies Focales y Valores Naturales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En total, la entidad entreg\u00f3 este material a 42 organizaciones ambientales<\/strong>, entre ellas grupos de monitoreo, asociaciones, fundaciones, colectivos ecol\u00f3gicos, alcald\u00edas y Parques Nacionales Naturales de Colombia<\/strong>, actores clave en la protecci\u00f3n del patrimonio natural huilense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEstas cartillas no son solo material educativo, son herramientas para que las comunidades reconozcan las especies que habitan su territorio y comprendan la importancia de protegerlas\u201d, explic\u00f3 Katherine Arenas<\/strong>, bi\u00f3loga de la CAM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Las publicaciones incluyen gu\u00edas de mam\u00edferos, aves, anfibios y peces del Huila<\/strong>, adem\u00e1s de cartillas para colorear y folletos sobre especies invasoras. Con ilustraciones y lenguaje accesible, estos materiales buscan fortalecer el conocimiento local y fomentar una ciudadan\u00eda comprometida con la conservaci\u00f3n<\/strong> y la sostenibilidad ambiental.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
