El Gobierno Huila Grande contin\u00faa fortaleciendo la educaci\u00f3n en el departamento no solo con programas de alimentaci\u00f3n escolar que benefician a m\u00e1s de 90.000 ni\u00f1os y ni\u00f1as, sino tambi\u00e9n con importantes obras de infraestructura que buscan mejorar las condiciones de aprendizaje en distintas zonas del territorio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El secretario de Educaci\u00f3n departamental, Edgar Martin Lara, present\u00f3 un balance de las inversiones ejecutadas durante 2025, en el marco de la Convocatoria 2021 del Ministerio de Educaci\u00f3n Nacional (MEN). A trav\u00e9s del Fondo de Financiamiento de Infraestructura Educativa (FFIE), se destinaron $7.850 millones<\/strong> para intervenir 32 sedes escolares oficiales<\/strong> en 13 municipios<\/strong> del Huila.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Las obras, distribuidas en Acevedo, San Agust\u00edn, Palermo, \u00cdquira, El Agrado, Altamira, Timan\u00e1, La Argentina, N\u00e1taga, Paicol, Tesalia, Isnos y Palestina, han contribuido a transformar los espacios educativos y mejorar la calidad de vida de estudiantes y docentes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Con recursos propios del Departamento se priorizaron 69 sedes educativas<\/strong> de educaci\u00f3n inicial, donde se instalaron Plantas de Tratamiento de Agua Potable (PTAP)<\/strong> en 28 municipios, mediante el contrato de obra p\u00fablica No. 790 de 2024, por $3.484 millones<\/strong>. Adem\u00e1s, se ejecut\u00f3 la adecuaci\u00f3n de la infraestructura deportiva en la Instituci\u00f3n Educativa San Isidro (Acevedo) por $517 millones<\/strong>, y el mejoramiento de aulas y restaurantes escolares en 50 sedes<\/strong> mediante convenio con IDACO por $2.303 millones<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cTenemos escuelitas construidas hace m\u00e1s de 30 a\u00f1os que hoy requieren atenci\u00f3n urgente. Poco a poco atendemos esas necesidades acumuladas para devolverle dignidad a la educaci\u00f3n\u201d, se\u00f1al\u00f3 Lara.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En 2025 tambi\u00e9n se ejecut\u00f3 el contrato No. 977 por $1.594 millones<\/strong>, destinado al fortalecimiento de la infraestructura para la primera infancia en 14 sedes<\/strong> de 8 municipios<\/strong>. Asimismo, se destinaron $4.109 millones de regal\u00edas<\/strong> para culminar la fase 1 del nuevo colegio Winnipeg en Pitalito<\/strong>, que beneficiar\u00e1 a 480 estudiantes de los grados sexto a once.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finalmente, se gestionaron cinco convenios adicionales<\/strong> con municipios y entidades como la Federaci\u00f3n Nacional de Departamentos e IDACO, con una inversi\u00f3n total de $6.917 millones<\/strong>. Para 2026, la Secretar\u00eda de Educaci\u00f3n analiza nuevos proyectos municipales para su viabilidad y financiaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
