Solo en 2025 se registraron <strong>14.603 reclamos<\/strong>, lo que representa un <strong>aumento del 107 %<\/strong> frente al a\u00f1o anterior. Seg\u00fan la entidad, los principales motivos est\u00e1n relacionados con <strong>demoras y negaci\u00f3n en la entrega de medicamentos<\/strong>, as\u00ed como con <strong>barreras en el acceso a servicios y tratamientos de salud<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El panorama es especialmente cr\u00edtico para los <strong>pacientes de alto costo<\/strong>. Entre <strong>noviembre de 2025 y enero de 2026<\/strong>, la Defensor\u00eda recibi\u00f3 cerca de <strong>5.000 quejas<\/strong>, de las cuales <strong>1.100<\/strong> se presentaron en los primeros 20 d\u00edas del a\u00f1o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ante la situaci\u00f3n, la entidad inici\u00f3 una <strong>estrategia conjunta con la Nueva EPS<\/strong> para exigir respuestas inmediatas, eliminar obst\u00e1culos en la atenci\u00f3n y establecer <strong>rutas claras de acceso<\/strong>, en especial para los casos que representan <strong>riesgo vital<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La <strong>defensora del Pueblo, Iris Mar\u00edn Ortiz<\/strong>, record\u00f3 que esta crisis hace parte de las <strong>fallas estructurales del sistema de salud colombiano<\/strong>. Entre <strong>2022 y 2025<\/strong>, la Defensor\u00eda ha recibido m\u00e1s de <strong>107.000 quejas<\/strong> por vulneraciones al derecho fundamental a la salud, siendo la <strong>falta de oportunidad y la negaci\u00f3n de medicamentos<\/strong> las causas m\u00e1s frecuentes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Durante la <strong>primera mesa nacional de seguimiento<\/strong>, participaron entidades como el <strong>Ministerio de Salud<\/strong>, la <strong>Superintendencia Nacional de Salud<\/strong>, la <strong>Procuradur\u00eda<\/strong>, la <strong>Contralor\u00eda<\/strong>, la <strong>ADRES<\/strong> y directivos de la <strong>Nueva EPS<\/strong>. En el encuentro se priorizaron regiones con alta concentraci\u00f3n de afiliados, entre ellas <strong>Guain\u00eda, Guaviare, Vaup\u00e9s, Arauca, Choc\u00f3, Huila, Tolima, Caldas y Norte de Santander<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Como resultado, se pactaron compromisos para <strong>fortalecer la respuesta institucional<\/strong>, incluyendo el seguimiento a las rutas regionales de atenci\u00f3n, la <strong>entrega masiva de medicamentos<\/strong>, la revisi\u00f3n de los <strong>procesos de pago<\/strong> y el cumplimiento \u00e1gil de <strong>acciones judiciales<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La Defensor\u00eda hizo un <strong>llamado urgente<\/strong> a todos los actores del sistema de salud para que asuman sus responsabilidades y adopten medidas inmediatas que garanticen el <strong>derecho a la salud<\/strong>, especialmente en beneficio de las poblaciones m\u00e1s vulnerables.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>La Defensor\u00eda del Pueblo alert\u00f3 sobre un incremento significativo en las quejas contra la Nueva EPS.
