El Consejo Nacional Electoral (CNE)<\/strong> aclar\u00f3 que el municipio de Algeciras<\/strong>, aunque pertenece al departamento del Huila<\/strong>, hace parte de la Circunscripci\u00f3n Transitoria Especial de Paz (CITREP)<\/strong> del Caquet\u00e1<\/strong>, dentro del esquema de participaci\u00f3n pol\u00edtica creado en el marco del Acuerdo de Paz<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La autoridad electoral explic\u00f3 que Algeciras es el \u00fanico municipio del Huila<\/strong> incluido en las CITREP<\/strong>, raz\u00f3n por la cual se articula electoralmente con los diecis\u00e9is municipios del Caquet\u00e1<\/strong> que conforman esa circunscripci\u00f3n especial. Esta uni\u00f3n tiene como prop\u00f3sito elegir una Curul Especial de Paz en la C\u00e1mara de Representantes<\/strong>, correspondiente al proceso electoral del 8 de marzo de 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El CNE precis\u00f3 que esta articulaci\u00f3n se basa en criterios t\u00e9cnicos y normativos<\/strong> y no altera la pertenencia territorial<\/strong> de Algeciras al Huila ni los derechos pol\u00edticos de sus habitantes. \u201cLa participaci\u00f3n conjunta con los municipios del Caquet\u00e1 obedece \u00fanicamente a fines electorales\u201d, se\u00f1al\u00f3 el organismo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Asimismo, el Consejo record\u00f3 que la Curul Especial de Paz<\/strong> no requiere umbral electoral y su asignaci\u00f3n se realizar\u00e1 exclusivamente dentro de esa circunscripci\u00f3n. Los ciudadanos habilitados podr\u00e1n votar tanto por esta curul como por las corporaciones tradicionales de elecci\u00f3n popular, es decir, C\u00e1mara de Representantes y Senado<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Durante la jornada del 8 de marzo, el tarjet\u00f3n para la Curul de Paz<\/strong> ser\u00e1 entregado \u00fanicamente en las zonas rurales de influencia de Algeciras<\/strong>, espec\u00edficamente en los sectores de Arcadia, El Para\u00edso y El Toro<\/strong>, de acuerdo con la reglamentaci\u00f3n vigente para las CITREP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finalmente, el CNE reiter\u00f3 su compromiso con la transparencia, la legalidad y la pedagog\u00eda electoral<\/strong>, invitando a la ciudadan\u00eda a informarse a trav\u00e9s de los canales oficiales<\/strong>, participar activamente y ejercer su derecho al voto con plena confianza en las instituciones democr\u00e1ticas.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
