El Programa de Alimentaci\u00f3n Escolar (PAE) del Huila avanza con resultados positivos y una cobertura que hoy beneficia a 94.150 estudiantes<\/strong> en todo el departamento: 91.958 del PAE regular<\/strong> y 2.192 del PAE ind\u00edgena<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seg\u00fan la secretaria de Gobierno departamental encargada y supervisora del programa, Liliana V\u00e1squez Sandoval<\/strong>, el PAE convencional inici\u00f3 operaciones el pasado 27 de enero<\/strong>, garantizando la atenci\u00f3n en 1.423 sedes educativas<\/strong> de los 35 municipios<\/strong> de competencia departamental. La funcionaria destac\u00f3 que la puesta en marcha temprana obedeci\u00f3 a una planeaci\u00f3n t\u00e9cnica responsable que asegur\u00f3 la log\u00edstica de suministros y el cumplimiento de los est\u00e1ndares de inocuidad desde el primer d\u00eda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El Huila alcanza hoy una cobertura del 84%<\/strong>, seis puntos por encima del promedio nacional (78%). V\u00e1squez record\u00f3 que el programa mantiene continuidad desde el inicio del calendario escolar, sin hallazgos fiscales durante la vigencia anterior, y resalt\u00f3 que el PAE departamental se ha convertido en modelo nacional<\/strong>, especialmente por sus operaciones en zonas rurales dispersas<\/strong>, donde participan Juntas de Acci\u00f3n Comunal y Asociaciones de Padres de Familia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En cuanto al PAE ind\u00edgena<\/strong>, el departamento atiende a 2.192 ni\u00f1os y ni\u00f1as<\/strong> pertenecientes al Consejo Regional Ind\u00edgena del Huila (CRIHU)<\/strong> en \u00cdquira, La Argentina, La Plata y N\u00e1taga, as\u00ed como a la comunidad Yanacona<\/strong> en San Agust\u00edn. Estos procesos se ejecutan mediante el Programa de Alimentaci\u00f3n Escolar Ind\u00edgena Propio (PAIP)<\/strong>, operado por las mismas comunidades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La inversi\u00f3n total del programa asciende a $67.847 millones<\/strong>, de los cuales $64.472 millones<\/strong> corresponden al PAE regular y m\u00e1s de $3.300 millones<\/strong> al PAE ind\u00edgena. Estos recursos generan impacto econ\u00f3mico mediante la contrataci\u00f3n de 2.100 mujeres<\/strong> como manipuladoras de alimentos y la compra local de entre 30% y 35%<\/strong> de los insumos a productores del territorio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finalmente, la funcionaria explic\u00f3 que el PAE convencional operar\u00e1 hasta finales de julio<\/strong>, mientras se concreta la transferencia de recursos anunciada por la Unidad de Alimentos para Aprender (UApA)<\/strong> por m\u00e1s de $107.955 millones<\/strong>, con lo cual se espera garantizar la continuidad del servicio durante toda la vigencia 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En 2025, el programa registr\u00f3 una ejecuci\u00f3n presupuestal del 98%<\/strong>, cobertura promedio del 83%<\/strong> y prestaci\u00f3n del servicio desde el primer d\u00eda del calendario escolar, consolidando al PAE Huila como uno de los m\u00e1s eficientes del pa\u00eds<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
