Desde la comunidad ind\u00edgena Yotojorin, en jurisdicci\u00f3n de <strong>Uribia<\/strong>, el mandatario explic\u00f3 que la madre del menor firm\u00f3 un documento en el que rechaz\u00f3 la cirug\u00eda recomendada por los m\u00e9dicos luego del accidente que sufri\u00f3 su hijo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Petro record\u00f3 que el menor cay\u00f3 en un polideportivo, lo que le caus\u00f3 un <strong>traumatismo craneoencef\u00e1lico severo<\/strong> con signos compatibles con fractura en la base del cr\u00e1neo. \u201cSe le informa a la madre que hay que intervenir quir\u00fargicamente y sus riesgos, pero la madre no acepta la intervenci\u00f3n\u201d, indic\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El presidente insisti\u00f3 en que el Gobierno no ha ocultado informaci\u00f3n sobre el caso. \u201cNo mentimos anoche, no estamos tapando algo con otra cosa. A\u00fan hay que investigar m\u00e1s para establecer si existe una responsabilidad ajena a la familia, sobre todo en el traslado de <strong>Santander<\/strong> hacia <strong>Huila<\/strong> y en la pausa durante la cual no recibi\u00f3 la \u00faltima dosis m\u00e9dica que deb\u00eda aplicarse el 14 de enero\u201d, se\u00f1al\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El mandatario tambi\u00e9n detall\u00f3 la atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica que recibi\u00f3 el ni\u00f1o: primero fue atendido en el hospital local de <strong>Palestina<\/strong>, donde qued\u00f3 \u201csomnoliento\u201d. Luego fue remitido al hospital de <strong>Pitalito<\/strong>, donde una tomograf\u00eda confirm\u00f3 fractura y hematomas. \u201cEl estado del paciente se deteriora y se le informa a la madre que hay que intervenir, pero ella no acepta. Tampoco puedo decir si fue lo acertado o no\u201d, agreg\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seg\u00fan el informe le\u00eddo por Petro, en la madrugada del 9 de febrero el menor present\u00f3 s\u00edntomas de compresi\u00f3n cerebral. Durante su traslado a\u00e9reo a <strong>Bogot\u00e1<\/strong>, sufri\u00f3 un paro cardiorrespiratorio, fue reanimado y atendido en el <strong>Hospital de la Misericordia<\/strong>, donde falleci\u00f3 poco despu\u00e9s con sospecha de lesi\u00f3n cerebral irreversible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finalmente, el presidente solicit\u00f3 una investigaci\u00f3n para establecer responsabilidades individuales. \u201cDebe investigarse si existieron otras responsabilidades, especialmente en lo relacionado con la dosis m\u00e9dica que deb\u00eda aplicarse el 14 de enero y que no fue suministrada en la fecha prevista\u201d, concluy\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>El presidente Gustavo Petro entreg\u00f3 nuevos detalles sobre la muerte del ni\u00f1o Kevin Acosta, tras conocer un informe del Ministerio de Salud.
