{"id":94204,"date":"2026-02-20T14:41:22","date_gmt":"2026-02-20T19:41:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/luchonoticias.com\/editor\/?p=94204"},"modified":"2026-02-20T14:41:23","modified_gmt":"2026-02-20T19:41:23","slug":"trump-vuelve-y-juega-con-mas-impuestos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/luchonoticias.com\/editor\/trump-vuelve-y-juega-con-mas-impuestos\/","title":{"rendered":"Trump vuelve y juega con m\u00e1s impuestos"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>El presidente de Estados Unidos, <strong>Donald Trump<\/strong>, anunci\u00f3 que firmar\u00e1 una orden ejecutiva para imponer un <strong>arancel global del 10 %<\/strong> bajo la <strong>Secci\u00f3n 122 de la Ley de Comercio de 1974<\/strong>, una herramienta que le permite aplicar restricciones temporales a las importaciones por un periodo m\u00e1ximo de 150 d\u00edas antes de requerir aprobaci\u00f3n del Congreso.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La decisi\u00f3n del mandatario llega pocos d\u00edas despu\u00e9s del <strong>fallo de la Corte Suprema de Estados Unidos<\/strong>, que invalid\u00f3 la mayor\u00eda de los aranceles impuestos por su gobierno en abril de 2025. Seg\u00fan el tribunal, la administraci\u00f3n se <strong>extralimit\u00f3 en los poderes de emergencia<\/strong> previstos en la <strong>Ley de Poderes Econ\u00f3micos de Emergencia Internacional<\/strong>, al imponer tarifas unilaterales bajo el argumento de \u201cseguridad nacional\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pese a contar con mayor\u00eda conservadora, la Corte Suprema vot\u00f3 <strong>6-3<\/strong> a favor de revocar las medidas, al considerar que la estrategia de Trump representaba una <strong>delegaci\u00f3n excesiva del poder tributario<\/strong>, facultad que la Constituci\u00f3n reserva al Congreso. Los magistrados argumentaron adem\u00e1s que los aranceles act\u00faan como un impuesto directo a los ciudadanos estadounidenses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El fallo deja sin efecto tarifas clave como la <strong>base global del 10 % a las importaciones<\/strong>, los <strong>grav\u00e1menes \u201crec\u00edprocos\u201d<\/strong> a socios comerciales y los <strong>aranceles adicionales del 25 % a M\u00e9xico y Canad\u00e1<\/strong>, medidas con las que el expresidente buscaba presionar a ambos pa\u00edses para frenar el tr\u00e1fico de drogas hacia Estados Unidos. Tambi\u00e9n se anulan los aumentos de hasta el 50 % a Brasil e India, impuestos como represalia por el enjuiciamiento del expresidente <strong>Jair Bolsonaro<\/strong> y la compra de petr\u00f3leo ruso.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Trump calific\u00f3 la decisi\u00f3n judicial como \u201c<strong>profundamente decepcionante<\/strong>\u201d y asegur\u00f3 que el tribunal \u201c<strong>ha sido influido por intereses extranjeros<\/strong>\u201d. \u201cMe averg\u00fcenza que ciertos miembros de la Corte no tengan el valor de hacer lo correcto para nuestro pa\u00eds\u201d, afirm\u00f3 durante una rueda de prensa en la <strong>Casa Blanca<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El presidente anticip\u00f3 que su gobierno tiene \u201c<strong>alternativas m\u00e1s poderosas<\/strong>\u201d a la IEEPA para imponer nuevas tarifas. \u201cExisten leyes y facultades reconocidas por el Congreso y el propio tribunal que son incluso m\u00e1s fuertes que las que ten\u00edamos bajo la IEEPA\u201d, sostuvo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Con esta nueva orden, Trump busca mantener su estrategia de presi\u00f3n comercial y proteger lo que denomina \u201cseguridad econ\u00f3mica nacional\u201d, mientras el fallo del Supremo podr\u00eda obligar a Washington a <strong>reembolsar hasta 240.000 millones de d\u00f3lares<\/strong> cobrados bajo los aranceles
