{"id":95349,"date":"2026-03-17T05:03:43","date_gmt":"2026-03-17T10:03:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/luchonoticias.com\/editor\/?p=95349"},"modified":"2026-03-17T05:03:44","modified_gmt":"2026-03-17T10:03:44","slug":"presidente-petro-ordena-liquidar-eps-en-quiebra","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/luchonoticias.com\/editor\/presidente-petro-ordena-liquidar-eps-en-quiebra\/","title":{"rendered":"Presidente Petro ordena liquidar EPS en quiebra"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Durante un Consejo de Ministros televisado, el presidente Gustavo Petro orden\u00f3 la liquidaci\u00f3n de las Entidades Promotoras de Salud (EPS) que se encuentren en quiebra, tras el hundimiento de la reforma a la salud en el Congreso de la Rep\u00fablica de Colombia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El mandatario instruy\u00f3 a los ministros de Hacienda, Germ\u00e1n \u00c1vila, y de Salud, Guillermo Alfonso Jaramillo, a avanzar con esta medida al considerar que ya no existen alternativas. Adem\u00e1s, fue enf\u00e1tico en que el Gobierno no asumir\u00e1 la deuda de las EPS, estimada en 50 billones de pesos, al advertir que hacerlo afectar\u00eda la estabilidad fiscal del pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cTodas las EPS que est\u00e9n en quiebra se liquidan. Ya no tenemos alternativas\u201d, afirm\u00f3 el jefe de Estado, quien calific\u00f3 como un \u201csuicidio\u201d destinar recursos p\u00fablicos para cubrir las obligaciones de estas entidades privadas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Petro tambi\u00e9n anunci\u00f3 que su Gobierno volver\u00e1 a presentar la reforma a la salud el pr\u00f3ximo 20 de julio de 2026, cuando se instale un nuevo Congreso. En la misma fecha, se radicar\u00e1 nuevamente la reforma tributaria que fue archivada por el actual legislativo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La decisi\u00f3n de liquidar las EPS, seg\u00fan explic\u00f3 el mandatario, tambi\u00e9n se da tras la suspensi\u00f3n provisional del Decreto 0182 de 2026 por parte del Tribunal Administrativo de Antioquia, medida que, en su concepto, fren\u00f3 el reordenamiento del sistema y afect\u00f3 su eficiencia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Finalmente, Petro defendi\u00f3 que su Gobierno no es responsable de la crisis financiera de las EPS y asegur\u00f3 que, por el contrario, se han destinado m\u00e1s recursos que en administraciones anteriores.
