Desde hace m\u00e1s de 18 a\u00f1os, Carmelina Oliveros ha transformado el totumo en piezas artesanales que van desde monederos y azucareras hasta figuras decorativas, jarrones y vasijas, rescatando el valor de un fruto poco aprovechado y convirti\u00e9ndolo en materia prima para la creaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLa mayor satisfacci\u00f3n ha sido darme a conocer y mostrar que de un fruto seco, que muchas veces se pierde, pueden surgir objetos \u00fatiles y art\u00edsticos\u201d, expres\u00f3 la artesana, quien ha consolidado su oficio como una alternativa productiva en el municipio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En el marco del fortalecimiento de las industrias creativas, la Secretar\u00eda de Desarrollo Econ\u00f3mico y Turismo del Huila visit\u00f3 su taller en Tello, donde socializ\u00f3 la oferta institucional dirigida a emprendedores, que incluye capacitaciones y acceso a convocatorias.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Actualmente, Oliveros comercializa sus productos en ferias y eventos, adem\u00e1s de atender pedidos personalizados y realizar ventas directas desde su vivienda, donde tambi\u00e9n funciona su taller artesanal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El desarrollo del sector artesanal en el municipio tambi\u00e9n ha contado con procesos de formaci\u00f3n liderados por instructores como Gelmo Uribe Legu\u00edzamo, quien ha contribuido a la ense\u00f1anza de diversas t\u00e9cnicas y al aprovechamiento del tiempo libre de j\u00f3venes y adultos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEn Tello he ense\u00f1ado distintas clases de artesan\u00edas, como el trabajo en totumo, la cer\u00e1mica y el capacho de ma\u00edz. Hoy se destacan materiales como la guadua, el bejuco y el totumo\u201d, explic\u00f3 el instructor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Estas acciones hacen parte de la apuesta de la Gobernaci\u00f3n del Huila por fortalecer la econom\u00eda local, preservar las tradiciones y promover el desarrollo de las industrias creativas en el departamento.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
