All\u00ed, el excanciller explic\u00f3 que su decisi\u00f3n de retirarse de la contienda obedece a la necesidad de actuar con coherencia frente a lo que hoy demanda el pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Murillo asegur\u00f3 que, tras escuchar a las regiones, concluy\u00f3 que Colombia reclama igualdad de oportunidades y el cierre de brechas hist\u00f3ricas. \u201cSer coherente con ese compromiso implica entender cu\u00e1ndo un camino individual debe transformarse en un esfuerzo colectivo\u201d, afirm\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Al evento no asistieron A\u00edda Quilcu\u00e9, f\u00f3rmula vicepresidencial de Cepeda, ni Luz Mar\u00eda Zapata, quien hab\u00eda sido designada como f\u00f3rmula de Murillo. No obstante, el exministro indic\u00f3 que Zapata a\u00fan eval\u00faa si lo acompa\u00f1ar\u00e1 en esta nueva etapa. \u201cElla siempre ha sido muy generosa y respetuosa, espero que muy pronto est\u00e9 ac\u00e1\u201d, dijo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sobre su rol en la campa\u00f1a, Murillo se\u00f1al\u00f3 que su principal tarea ser\u00e1 \u201ctender puentes\u201d. Tambi\u00e9n asegur\u00f3 que trabajar\u00e1 por el respeto a la separaci\u00f3n de poderes y por demostrar que es posible gobernar con responsabilidad institucional en el marco de un Acuerdo Nacional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Por su parte, Iv\u00e1n Cepeda agradeci\u00f3 el respaldo y se refiri\u00f3, entre otros temas, a la relaci\u00f3n con Estados Unidos en un eventual gobierno.
