La Gobernaci\u00f3n del Huila, junto con las alcald\u00edas de Neiva y Palermo, avanza en la construcci\u00f3n del Plan Especial de Salvaguardia (PES) para la tejedur\u00eda de Pindo, una iniciativa que busca preservar el conocimiento ancestral alrededor de la elaboraci\u00f3n del tradicional sombrero huilense y fortalecer su reconocimiento como patrimonio cultural del departamento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El proyecto tambi\u00e9n apunta a consolidar una marca colectiva que permita proteger y promover esta manifestaci\u00f3n artesanal en el territorio nacional, involucrando a toda la cadena productiva, desde el cultivo de la palma hasta la comercializaci\u00f3n de las piezas elaboradas por los artesanos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Las acciones comenzaron en el corregimiento de San Luis, donde comunidades ind\u00edgenas Pijao y NASA lideran procesos de protecci\u00f3n de los cultivos de palma de Pindo, materia prima esencial para la fabricaci\u00f3n de los sombreros. Seg\u00fan explicaron voceros del proyecto, el prop\u00f3sito es construir documentos t\u00e9cnicos que permitan formalizar el Plan de Salvaguardia con participaci\u00f3n directa de los actores vinculados a esta tradici\u00f3n entre Palermo y Neiva.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gerardo Aldana Garc\u00eda, profesional de la Secretar\u00eda de Cultura Departamental, se\u00f1al\u00f3 que el objetivo es consolidar una marca colectiva que garantice reconocimiento y protecci\u00f3n para la tejedur\u00eda de Pindo, trabajando de la mano con las comunidades encargadas del cuidado de los cultivos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Por su parte, el l\u00edder ind\u00edgena Liborio Chala destac\u00f3 la importancia de preservar la palma de Pindo para asegurar la continuidad de la tradici\u00f3n artesanal. Entre tanto, Zulay Yadira Vargas, asesora de la Alcald\u00eda de Palermo, explic\u00f3 que el proceso contempla varias fases t\u00e9cnicas orientadas a sensibilizar y articular a todos los integrantes de la cadena productiva.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Desde el Sena Huila, Claudia Marcela Farf\u00e1n resalt\u00f3 la importancia de vincular a los j\u00f3venes al proceso, promoviendo el relevo generacional y la innovaci\u00f3n dentro de la tradici\u00f3n artesanal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El plan contempla talleres de sensibilizaci\u00f3n con artesanos y cultivadores, visitas t\u00e9cnicas a los cultivos, mesas de trabajo interinstitucionales y la elaboraci\u00f3n de documentos que permitan definir rutas de protecci\u00f3n cultural y legal para esta manifestaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Con esta estrategia conjunta, la Gobernaci\u00f3n del Huila, las alcald\u00edas y las comunidades buscan que el sombrero de Pindo se consolide no solo como una prenda representativa de la regi\u00f3n, sino tambi\u00e9n como un s\u00edmbolo de identidad cultural y sostenibilidad econ\u00f3mica para numerosas familias huilenses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
