La Alcald\u00eda de Neiva y la ESE Carmen Emilia Ospina firmaron un convenio para brindar atenci\u00f3n en salud mental a cuidadores de personas con dependencia funcional, teniendo en cuenta el impacto emocional y f\u00edsico que esta labor genera en los entornos familiares.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El proyecto tiene como prop\u00f3sito identificar el perfil de salud de los cuidadores y detectar posibles riesgos asociados a afectaciones f\u00edsicas y psicol\u00f3gicas derivadas de las responsabilidades que asumen en el hogar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Para desarrollar esta estrategia, el programa cuenta con equipos conformados por gestores comunitarios, auxiliares de enfermer\u00eda, fisioterapeutas, psic\u00f3logos y trabajadores sociales, quienes adelantan jornadas de reconocimiento y acompa\u00f1amiento en las diferentes comunas de Neiva.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSe entiende por dependencia funcional toda persona que requiere apoyo para realizar sus actividades diarias debido a limitaciones en su autonom\u00eda. Estas personas necesitan de un cuidador, pero quienes cumplen ese rol tambi\u00e9n requieren atenci\u00f3n y acompa\u00f1amiento en salud. Por eso naci\u00f3 el programa Cuidado del Cuidador\u201d, explic\u00f3 Anderson Casta\u00f1eda, coordinador de la iniciativa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El funcionario indic\u00f3 adem\u00e1s que el programa es gratuito y cuenta con recursos por 1.200 millones de pesos, con los que se espera beneficiar a unas 1.440 familias. La meta tambi\u00e9n es fortalecer redes de apoyo y grupos de ayuda mutua que permitan mejorar las capacidades de los cuidadores y generar espacios de participaci\u00f3n comunitaria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Casta\u00f1eda destac\u00f3 igualmente el acompa\u00f1amiento de la Red de Cuidadores de Neiva, organizaci\u00f3n que ha trabajado en favor de esta poblaci\u00f3n y que ahora se articula con la Administraci\u00f3n Municipal y la ESE Carmen Emilia Ospina para desarrollar intervenciones orientadas a mejorar el bienestar de los cuidadores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Con esta estrategia, la ESE Carmen Emilia Ospina reafirma su compromiso con la promoci\u00f3n de la salud y el bienestar de la poblaci\u00f3n, fortaleciendo la inclusi\u00f3n y la participaci\u00f3n comunitaria en la atenci\u00f3n de sus necesidades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
