Un total de 16 animales silvestres fueron liberados en el Huila por la CAM, tras culminar procesos de rescate, atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica y rehabilitaci\u00f3n en el Hogar de Paso de Fauna de Neiva.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La jornada se realiz\u00f3 en la zona amortiguadora del Parque Natural Regional Siberia Ceibas, en el nororiente del departamento, un sector de alta biodiversidad considerado ideal para la reintroducci\u00f3n de especies gracias a sus bosques y fuentes h\u00eddricas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Entre los animales liberados se encuentran cinco boas, dos guacharacas, tres tortugas estuche, una tamand\u00faa, un gavil\u00e1n, un loro cascabelito, una serpiente cazadora y dos zarig\u00fceyas. De acuerdo con la entidad, varios de estos ejemplares fueron rescatados en zonas urbanas y rurales tras reportes ciudadanos y operativos de la Polic\u00eda Ambiental, mientras que otros llegaron al centro de atenci\u00f3n en diferentes condiciones de vulnerabilidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La CAM explic\u00f3 que las guacharacas y el gavil\u00e1n recibieron un proceso especial de crianza artificial, al haber ingresado como polluelos sin posibilidad de sobrevivir por s\u00ed solos. Este proceso incluy\u00f3 alimentaci\u00f3n asistida, monitoreo m\u00e9dico, etapas de cuarentena y posterior adaptaci\u00f3n en espacios controlados para fortalecer habilidades de supervivencia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El equipo t\u00e9cnico se\u00f1al\u00f3 que la fase final del proceso incluy\u00f3 pruebas de comportamiento y evaluaci\u00f3n del entorno de liberaci\u00f3n, con el fin de garantizar que los animales pudieran adaptarse nuevamente a su h\u00e1bitat natural.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La corporaci\u00f3n ambiental insisti\u00f3 en el llamado a proteger la fauna silvestre, evitar su tenencia como mascotas y reportar oportunamente cualquier caso de tr\u00e1fico o rescate de animales a las autoridades competentes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
