Las acciones de prevenci\u00f3n y control implementadas por la Secretar\u00eda de Salud de Neiva permitieron reducir significativamente los casos de dengue en la ciudad durante 2026. De acuerdo con el m\u00e1s reciente reporte epidemiol\u00f3gico, el municipio registra 218 casos en la semana 18, frente a los 930 reportados en el mismo periodo del a\u00f1o anterior.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Como parte de la estrategia para combatir enfermedades transmitidas por el mosquito Aedes Aegypti, los equipos operativos adelantaron intervenciones en 1.767 puntos cr\u00edticos identificados como potenciales criaderos, encontrando presencia del vector en 168 de ellos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Las labores de inspecci\u00f3n y control se realizaron en 22 barrios y cinco veredas, donde fueron visitadas 7.434 viviendas y desarrolladas actividades educativas que beneficiaron a cerca de 9.600 personas. Las comunas 1, 10, 6 y 9 fueron las zonas con mayor n\u00famero de inspecciones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adem\u00e1s, la administraci\u00f3n municipal llev\u00f3 a cabo talleres sobre limpieza de albercas y jornadas de reordenamiento ambiental, logrando recolectar m\u00e1s de 1.600 kilogramos de elementos inservibles que pod\u00edan convertirse en criaderos de mosquitos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Las medidas tambi\u00e9n incluyeron fumigaciones peri domiciliarias en diferentes sectores urbanos y rurales, as\u00ed como intervenciones en 87 instituciones educativas y 34 sitios especiales, alcanzando a m\u00e1s de 42 mil personas entre estudiantes, docentes y comunidad en general.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En apoyo a la poblaci\u00f3n vulnerable, fueron entregados m\u00e1s de mil toldillos tratados de larga duraci\u00f3n.
