M\u00e1s de 400 ni\u00f1os y ni\u00f1as provenientes de diferentes municipios del Huila participaron en la versi\u00f3n 31 de la Jornada Healing The Children, una iniciativa humanitaria que brinda atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica especializada a menores con diferentes patolog\u00edas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Durante esta edici\u00f3n, 95 menores ser\u00e1n intervenidos quir\u00fargicamente tras cumplir el proceso de valoraci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica realizado por cerca de 80 profesionales de la salud nacionales e internacionales, quienes participan de manera voluntaria en la misi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La jornada cuenta adem\u00e1s con el respaldo de m\u00e1s de 30 aliados estrat\u00e9gicos entre empresas, instituciones y organizaciones sociales. Durante la apertura oficial, la presidenta ejecutiva de la C\u00e1mara de Comercio del Huila, Lina Marcela Carrera, destac\u00f3 el valor de la solidaridad y el trabajo colectivo en beneficio de la ni\u00f1ez huilense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Por su parte, el m\u00e9dico cirujano pl\u00e1stico Andr\u00e9s Ferro explic\u00f3 que en esta jornada se proyectan cerca de 20 procedimientos de reconstrucci\u00f3n de pabell\u00f3n auricular, adem\u00e1s de otras cirug\u00edas especializadas para los menores beneficiados.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La dirigente gremial tambi\u00e9n agradeci\u00f3 el apoyo de los voluntarios, instituciones aliadas y del Hospital Universitario Hernando Moncaleano Perdomo, resaltando que este tipo de iniciativas permiten transformar la vida de cientos de familias del sur del pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
