Seg\u00fan Noboa, la decisi\u00f3n se tom\u00f3 tras dialogar con el aspirante y conocer su propuesta de fortalecer la cooperaci\u00f3n bilateral en la lucha contra el narcotr\u00e1fico y el crimen organizado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Por su parte, De la Espriella asegur\u00f3 que, de llegar a la Presidencia, buscar\u00e1 estrechar las relaciones con Ecuador y adelant\u00f3 que sostendr\u00eda un encuentro con Noboa en la zona fronteriza para fortalecer el trabajo conjunto entre ambos pa\u00edses. El candidato figura segundo en varias encuestas de intenci\u00f3n de voto, detr\u00e1s de Iv\u00e1n Cepeda y por delante de Paloma Valencia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La eliminaci\u00f3n del arancel se produce en medio de las tensiones comerciales surgidas a comienzos de a\u00f1o, cuando el Gobierno ecuatoriano impuso el gravamen argumentando preocupaciones por la seguridad en la frontera com\u00fan.
