El sur del Huila avanz\u00f3 en la construcci\u00f3n de una estrategia conjunta para enfrentar los posibles efectos del fen\u00f3meno de El Ni\u00f1o, mediante la creaci\u00f3n de una Mesa T\u00e9cnica Regional y la definici\u00f3n de una hoja de ruta enfocada en la prevenci\u00f3n y gesti\u00f3n del riesgo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La iniciativa re\u00fane a instituciones, comunidades, academia y sectores productivos con el objetivo de coordinar acciones que permitan reducir los impactos que podr\u00edan generar las altas temperaturas y la disminuci\u00f3n de lluvias previstas para los pr\u00f3ximos meses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Entre las prioridades establecidas se encuentran la protecci\u00f3n de las fuentes h\u00eddricas, la atenci\u00f3n de la fauna silvestre, la prevenci\u00f3n de incendios de cobertura vegetal, el fortalecimiento de la producci\u00f3n agropecuaria y la implementaci\u00f3n de estrategias de comunicaci\u00f3n para alertar y orientar a la poblaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La Mesa T\u00e9cnica Regional ser\u00e1 la encargada de promover el trabajo articulado entre las diferentes entidades y de hacer seguimiento a las medidas que se adopten para prevenir emergencias y fortalecer la capacidad de respuesta de los municipios.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Durante la jornada tambi\u00e9n fueron revisados los pron\u00f3sticos clim\u00e1ticos para la regi\u00f3n y los avances de iniciativas de planificaci\u00f3n territorial orientadas a la adaptaci\u00f3n frente a los efectos del cambio clim\u00e1tico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Las entidades participantes coincidieron en la necesidad de actuar de manera anticipada para proteger a las comunidades, garantizar la disponibilidad de recursos naturales y minimizar las consecuencias econ\u00f3micas y ambientales que podr\u00eda generar el fen\u00f3meno de El Ni\u00f1o.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
