{"id":99284,"date":"2026-06-07T07:00:00","date_gmt":"2026-06-07T12:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/luchonoticias.com\/editor\/?p=99284"},"modified":"2026-06-05T17:57:55","modified_gmt":"2026-06-05T22:57:55","slug":"colombianos-que-iran-al-mundial-a-vacunarse-contra-el-sarampion","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/luchonoticias.com\/editor\/colombianos-que-iran-al-mundial-a-vacunarse-contra-el-sarampion\/","title":{"rendered":"Colombianos que ir\u00e1n al mundial, a vacunarse contra el sarampi\u00f3n"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Ante el aumento de casos de sarampi\u00f3n en varios pa\u00edses de Am\u00e9rica y la alta movilidad internacional prevista por la Copa Mundial de la FIFA 2026, el Ministerio de Salud y Protecci\u00f3n Social reiter\u00f3 el llamado a los viajeros colombianos para verificar y completar su esquema de vacunaci\u00f3n al menos 15 d\u00edas antes de desplazarse al exterior.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Seg\u00fan el m\u00e1s reciente informe de la Organizaci\u00f3n Panamericana de la Salud (OPS), entre las semanas epidemiol\u00f3gicas 1 y 19 de 2026 se han confirmado m\u00e1s de 20.000 casos y 25 fallecimientos por sarampi\u00f3n en la regi\u00f3n de las Am\u00e9ricas. M\u00e9xico, Guatemala, Estados Unidos y Canad\u00e1 concentran gran parte de los contagios reportados. En Colombia, las autoridades han confirmado siete casos importados del genotipo D8.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Frente a este panorama, el Ministerio de Salud y el Instituto Nacional de Salud fortalecieron las acciones de vigilancia epidemiol\u00f3gica y vacunaci\u00f3n para evitar la reintroducci\u00f3n del virus al pa\u00eds y preservar la certificaci\u00f3n de Colombia como territorio libre de transmisi\u00f3n end\u00e9mica de sarampi\u00f3n, reconocimiento obtenido en 2014.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cEl aumento de casos en la regi\u00f3n y la magnitud del Mundial 2026 incrementan el riesgo de transmisi\u00f3n. Invitamos a los viajeros a revisar su carn\u00e9 de vacunaci\u00f3n y acudir oportunamente a los servicios de salud para completar sus esquemas\u201d, se\u00f1al\u00f3 el ministro de Salud, Guillermo Alfonso Jaramillo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Como parte de las medidas de prevenci\u00f3n, el Gobierno desarrollar\u00e1 entre el 15 y el 19 de junio una jornada intensiva de b\u00fasqueda activa y vacunaci\u00f3n, que culminar\u00e1 con una Gran Vacunat\u00f3n Nacional el 20 de junio. La estrategia estar\u00e1 dirigida especialmente a ni\u00f1os entre 1 y 10 a\u00f1os, viajeros internacionales y beb\u00e9s entre 6 y 11 meses, quienes podr\u00e1n recibir una dosis adicional de protecci\u00f3n, conocida como \u201cdosis cero\u201d, sin que esta sustituya el esquema regular de vacunaci\u00f3n establecido para los 12 y 18 meses de
