En el marco de la conmemoraci\u00f3n de los 121 a\u00f1os de vida administrativa del Huila, la Gobernaci\u00f3n realiz\u00f3 una ceremonia en la que exalt\u00f3 el crecimiento econ\u00f3mico, el fortalecimiento social y el aporte de destacados huilenses al desarrollo del departamento. Durante el acto fueron entregadas la Orden Cacica Gaitana y la condecoraci\u00f3n Jos\u00e9 Eustasio Rivera, m\u00e1ximos reconocimientos otorgados por la administraci\u00f3n departamental.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El gobernador Rodrigo Villalba Mosquera asegur\u00f3 que el Huila atraviesa un momento de consolidaci\u00f3n gracias al esfuerzo de su gente y a la diversificaci\u00f3n de su econom\u00eda. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Destac\u00f3 que el departamento completa 15 a\u00f1os como el principal productor de caf\u00e9 del pa\u00eds, actividad de la que dependen m\u00e1s de 88.000 familias, adem\u00e1s de liderar la producci\u00f3n pisc\u00edcola nacional con cerca del 37 % del pescado cultivado en Colombia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El mandatario tambi\u00e9n resalt\u00f3 el potencial agr\u00edcola y minero del territorio, con importantes resultados en sectores como el cacao, arroz, fr\u00edjol, frutas y ganader\u00eda, as\u00ed como la existencia de reservas estrat\u00e9gicas de dolomita y roca fosf\u00f3rica. A ello se suma el avance de proyectos solares en municipios como Aipe, Palermo, Villavieja y Neiva, que fortalecen la apuesta regional por la transici\u00f3n energ\u00e9tica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En materia social, Villalba destac\u00f3 la reducci\u00f3n sostenida del \u00cdndice de Pobreza Multidimensional en el departamento, que pas\u00f3 del 11,9 % en 2023 al 9,7 % en 2025, ubic\u00e1ndose por debajo del promedio nacional y evidenciando mejoras en la calidad de vida de la poblaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Entrega de condecoraciones\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

La hist\u00f3rica efem\u00e9ride sirvi\u00f3 adem\u00e1s para entregar condecoraciones a personajes ilustres del departamento, momento en donde el deporte no estuvo al margen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El ciclista laboyano Harold Tejada fue condecorado con la orden Jos\u00e9 Eustasio Rivera, distinci\u00f3n que recibi\u00f3 su madre, la ex alcaldesa de Pitalito Gladys Canacu\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tambi\u00e9n recibieron igual distinci\u00f3n el dirigente Jorge ‘Tito’ Murcia y el periodista Melquisedec Torres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
