Entretanto, la Canciller\u00eda colombiana calific\u00f3 el procedimiento como una posible \u00abpersecuci\u00f3n pol\u00edtica\u00bb y manifest\u00f3 su disposici\u00f3n para gestionar su regreso al pa\u00eds o interceder ante la justicia estadounidense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Frente a este hecho, el presidente Gustavo Petro se pronunci\u00f3 a trav\u00e9s de su cuenta de X, desde donde exigi\u00f3 al Gobierno de Estados Unidos informar d\u00f3nde se encuentra Alberto Coral. En su mensaje, el mandatario record\u00f3 que el padre del activista fue un oficial de la Polic\u00eda colombiana que contribuy\u00f3 a ubicar al narcotraficante Pablo Escobar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00abEl presidente de la Rep\u00fablica de Colombia le exige al presidente de los EEUU que le diga al pueblo de Colombia d\u00f3nde est\u00e1 Alberto Coral, el hijo del oficial de polic\u00eda colombiano que descubri\u00f3 en qu\u00e9 lugar estaba el narcotraficante m\u00e1s grande en el mundo de la coca\u00edna: Pablo Escobar\u00bb, escribi\u00f3 Petro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El jefe de Estado tambi\u00e9n cuestion\u00f3 la relaci\u00f3n bilateral entre ambos pa\u00edses en materia de lucha contra el narcotr\u00e1fico. \u00abQue nos diga si somos compa\u00f1eros de verdad en la lucha contra el narcotr\u00e1fico, o solo nos ven como un pueblo inferior para ser utilizables, golpeables, torturizables econ\u00f3mica y pol\u00edticamente en los EEUU.
